gasket questions

I have a 1986 sea ray monaco with a 5.7 omc cobra out drive. I was wondering if any one knew of a company that reproduces the gaskets for it?

Gaskets for your 5.7 should come from Fel-Pro marine. Napa carries the Fel-Pro line. Bring your paycheck.

Are there any places I can cheat and use permatex liquid gasket on the out drive? I know it works for sealing the ends of intake manifolds on the motor so u would think it would be strong enough.

For the outdrive, I would guess the Sierra would have all the gaskets you would need to do a complete rebuild if you wanted. They carry gaskets for the older Stringer outdrives as well so I would think they would have them for cobras too.
