Gas odor

I have noticed this summer that exhaust fumes from our dinghy outboard or main boat has a different fowl smell, is my sense of smell changing or is there new additives in the fuel this season?

Not sure where your buying yours try Yarrow Bay they have Valvtect fuel we've used a few hundred gallons this year haven't noticed any difference with Valvtec fuel docks.

Some of the stabilizers make the exhaust smell weird. Try running without it for a while to see if that's what it is.
