Gas Consumption

Good Morning We have a 89 340 Sundancer with twin 7.4,s In the original brochure they quote the fuel consumption as being 25-30 gallons per hour at cruising speed 22-28mph. I am pretty sure and hopeful that they mean both engines combined. Just need some input. thanks

My 13 uses 2.0 GPH on plane cruising the ocean in the low 20s

My 2000 340 burned about 34-36 GPH at 3600 rpm. I had the 7.4 Horizons at 380hp.

For the 300 with twin 5.7s

You might be able to find the full curve ( for your exact boat / engines ) out there somewhere

Thank you very much for the info. I figured that around 30GPH was a combined total of both . I really like your info screen on your Garmin. Your fuel gauge looks a lot like ours does most of the time. lol. Thanks again... Steve.
