So I'm in the process of adding Garmin Autopilot with a few screens. I have the Autopilot pump hooked up to my main power switch (port side breaker) right now I have NMEA hooked up to the same... I'm debating on putting it on a switch. Including with the Garmin Screens as well.. So I can turn on/off with 1 switch... Because when ever I turn on my port breaker the A/P comes on automatic...

Just sitting at the dock don't want the a/p on or everything else... Has anyone done anything like this? Would love to hear how everyone Hooked up there's

My Auto Pilot is on it's own switch, the main MFD's and GPS antenna (n2k) are on its own switch. Maretron displays, AIS, VHF and 3rd smaller MFD are on another switch. So yep, done that.

I purchased my 380 last year It has NEMA network wired direct to the 12Volt buss. Everything is hooked to it. The autopilot, The Garmin MFD, the Fusion Stereo etc. when I turned on the batteries everything came on. I didn’t like that. I went into the menu on the Garmin MFD, and Garmin auto pilot controller and found a setting that Was turned on that allowed it to turn on automatically. I switched it off, so now when I turn on the batteries the MFD and Autopilot do not come on. I need to power them on from there individual power button now. I like that a lot better. Maybe you can do the same.
