Garmin Bluechart G2 Total US card vs Garmin Bluechart G2 Vision Lake Erie card

I am looking for some information on which card to buy. I have a Garmin 530s preloaded with inland lakes, where we do the majority of our boating. I spend about a week each year at Lake Erie on Kelley's Island in the Western Basin. What I am looking for is the lake contours and depths which for this area along with all navigation markers, similar to what I get with the preloaded maps for the inland lakes. Will the Bluechart G2 US card give me what I want for the the great lakes as West Marine's Site states:

"Also features general coverage of Canadian waters in the Inside and Outside Passages, Puget Sound, and the Great Lakes"

But Garmin's Site states:

"The Great Lakes are covered in their entirety as are the Lake of the Woods."

Anyone using these cards that can comment on whether I really need to spend an extra $100-$150 dollars for the Vision card that only covers Lake Erie? or will the standard G2 card work?

Here is what I can tell you.
I have the G2 vision card for Lake Erie in my Garmin 546s which has the coastal g2 software pre installed.
I really like the G2 vision for the auto guidance feature it gives me.
As you know western Lake Erie is shallow and the auto guidance will plot a course taking in to consideration the minimum depth that you select.
Also the G2 vision gives me as much or a little navigation info. ( chart, depth and navigation) that I select, along with marine a service info. for most all marine service locations.
As far as contours the G2 vision gives a fishing chart option with will show contours on the chart instead of spot soundings.
I was out to Kellys last weekend and the 546s and g2 vision worked flawlessly for me.

I have the 441s and have the coastal Bluechart G2. The Vision card allows for auto guidance and more info in areas where you are unfamiliar. I did ok on Lake Michigan last week but am getting the vision card for future trips as I feel it is safer. MM
