Garmin Block Adapter

Just purchased a Garmin echoMap 50s I presently have a Eagle 6 pin transducer,I was told Garmin makes a little black box called a Block Adapter that excepts a 6 pin cable t0 a 8 pin plug for the new echoMap. The part # is 010-11613-00 I was wondering if anybody has had the oportunity to use one. It,s saves having to replace old transducer.it gives you depth and temp

It works very well. No problem what so ever. I found it online for $45.00 with free shipping but I can't remember where.

Does it take much to hook up? Just plug and plug. What did you have for a transducer before. I dont want to blow up my new graph/gps.lol I was talking to Garmin but they said that they didnt have any info on my old Eagle transducer, I hate to wreck something.
