Garmin 840 xs

Looking into the Garmin 840xs, and I had a couple questions regarding it if anyone has any experience with this GPS.
Firstly,
I am getting the down vu, side vu, as well as the traditional sonar transom mount transducers.... where should these be mounted?
I have twin I/O's.... I think it is suggested to mount between the drives, I am not sure about this...
Has anyone got any experience with this unit? I was just looking for any advice on it.... good, bad, or indifferent.. TIA

With your setup I would go with a thruhull transducer the drive will cause turbulence. If you must do TM then between the drives as low as possible
