Anyone have this issue? The depthfinder on my GPS will occasionally get stuck at a depth and just periodically blink. Powering off the unit will sometimes reset it and I'll be good. I went as far as going reverse to see if it would reset, but no luck.

Any idea on how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

My 3210 does this occassionally if I'm in high gusts and need to throttle up when coming about (spinning around in my length) to overcome the wind. My conclusion was that I was frothing the water to a point that the sounder couldn't read the depth. It always seems to clear itself in a minute or so.

I have had similar problems with my Uniden depth gauge and my fishfinder - It usually clears up pretty quickly and I assume it's either trash or just bubbles. What kind of transducer does the 3206/3210 use? If it's a transom-mount, they can be sensitive to the angle they are mounted. If it just started you may check the alignment and clean it.

Good question Travis. I'll have to look the next time I'm on it. Thanks.
