The Admiral wants a larger galley table for our 340. Any ideas on where we could find one?
Thanks

Here are some pictures of tables I have done:

This has also been done as a smaller version as a drop in replacement for 3xx series

320 cockpit upgrade:

The grate tables and the 320 upgrade were made from teak. The galley table was made from cherry with coccobollo accent strips. I also did another version of the 320 table that had mortised hinges that allowed it to fold in half.

When you decide to have a table made make sure you use someone who has done marine carpentry. Even in a galley / salon application there is a significant difference between cabinetry made for home use and marine.

That's a cool link with some good ideas.
I am very happy with mine. It's worked out very well and has so much more room. The only downside is that I can't store it where the old resin round one was so most of the time it's just left up.

Hi Henry
It looks the same. It's extremely tough. The pictures are from August. I've only been out one other time(Labor day) since then. I'm very happy with that finish.

The finish is a catalyzed 2 part pour

I'll try to get pictures...but I made my new table a holder like the old frisbee holder so it would stow down in the engine room. Admittedly, for the table- I stole Henry's design for my amature attempt-.

Here's pic's the table and the makshift holder in the engine.
Yeah I know its not the best holder but I didn't spend alot of time...I figured if it rots or breaks I'll just make another out of the scraps and carpet remnants. It does make that little engine room than much more cramped though. Have to remove it to do any real work.

I may have to see if I have any room left in my engine bay for something similar.
