Hi There Looking for a good schematic for the fuse block on my 89 340 Sundancer. It is located beside my right knee on the starboard side of the helm in behind a vinyl covered door.
Some of the lettering explaining what fuses are what are worn off and hard to read. If I can get a good pic I will print it off . Hope someone can lead me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. Steve.

You can typically find this in your owner's manual. You can also donwload it from Sea Ray's website. If they don't show your particular year, try a few years one way or the other - or even a similar boat like an EC as it should be pretty much the same.

Short of that... remove one fuse at a time and see what doesn't work. That'd be the most reliable way.

Absolutely agree with Lazy. But i would defiantly also do the fuse pull thing, you never know what a previous fingers and minds may have rewired. Better to know now than to have to try and figure it out later during the drinking hours.

Another vote for pulling fuses one at a time. Lots can change over 31 years.

Thanks for the file Still need pic of Fuse panel at helm to the right of captains seat It is the main 12 volt system Glass fuses.

As mentioned above, just remove fuses one at a time. It's a 5 minute job. Then you can re-label any way you want to. Blue Seas (and others) has label packs that might work for you.

Sea Ray used to have more owner's manuals on their website (if you don't have the original that came with the boat, that is). But a number of years ago they changed computer systems (or something like that) and lost info. However, as I mentioned above, there are easy workarounds. Plus, wiring is wiring is wiring - meaning the wire color codes are standard. So you can look in an owner's manual and it should give you the wire colors for each system. It's actually pretty straight forward.

Maybe this will help. As dennis said "wiring is wiring is wiring"

Yes I have the original Owners Manual in the white Sea Ray binder but it doesn't touch on the 12 volt fuse panel. It gives me the wiring colors and application. Everything is working I just like to have a drawing in front of me if I have any problems. I will remove and label. Thanks a bunch.

Easy peasy!

So exactly how do you remove a fuse with the plastic cover over them? Do you need to get behind the panel to change a fuse? There's a fuse under the helm and one in the bilge for a stereo (Clarion) stereo system.. How the heck do you check the fuse.? :0

I think you're confused about what you have and/or terminology. You should have resettable breakers, not fuses. There's more information (as mentioned to above) in your owner's manual, but the two EIM's would likely contain one for the memory and one for main power.

You are correct. I am confused. When I looked at the panel(s) originally they appeared to be a glass fuse (the end of one) behind a soft plastic cover. As you know I was looking at a breaker. Sorry for the interruption. :)

Caribou, did you ever find a representation of the fuse panel or make your own? I can't find one anywhere and I'm concerned that the fuses have been replaced with the wrong ampere size. If you've found anything I would appreciate it if you would share. Thanks!
