yes, but I'm confused as to is that all? shouldn't there be more. Anyway, no I have a new concern, I can start up the boat, and it runs, but when I turn the ignition off it stays running?!?Aren't the fuses right above your switches on the dash?
There should never be more than one fuse per circuit. What's on your dash are real fuses - did you pull one out to look at it? Just because they're on the dash, doesn't mean they're any different than if they were behind the dash.yes, but I'm confused as to is that all? shouldn't there be more.
thank you for the reply, yes I did read on another post that pulling the battery off, you can damage the alternator, thank you again.usually its a sign of a bad alt backfeeding the ign system. Your aly most likely is a 3 wire so unhook the 2 small wires to see it the motor stops. Pull the coil wire DO NOT TRY TO TURN THE BATTERY SWITCH TO OFF
