Not “HAHA” funny, but there’s always that one moment when you realize your retarded apprentice forgot a critically important piece for a job in the truck.

And then you remember that you work alone and you are the retarded journeyman who forgot it…

Naw, that’s when you tell the customer “Why didnt you tell me you have non standard equipment! I’m sorry but I have to get special tools for your equipment. Oh this will raise the price. You should have told me!”
Then you go to the bar for the rest of the day. Obviously not a union worker.

I’ll just MacGyver it so it works in the meantime. This particular machine is only Plan B for a solar wind system with storage batteries. I’m on Island at least three times a month, I’ll make sure I have it on the next visit

I got plenty of other work for the day out here

this job puts me in some pretty interesting places, including emergency service by air a few times a year.
