A friend of my Son's lost her husband that way. Not quite that stupid, but he didn't use jack stands. The jack failed catastrophically and the car crushed his skull.
One of the most dangerous things you can do while replacing a tire, working on brakes etc….. to get under it is just crazy. To do what that guy is doing in the pic wins stupid
Look real close and he is using jack stands. They are just not high enough....
Back in the day, i was replacing rear brakes on wife car. Sitting on ground. The dam jack stand let go. BANG! Car came down, brake drum dented the asphalt. I was lucky i was sitting spread eagle, legs on sides of drum, came down between my legs. Scared the living fk out of me.
