One of the conditions when I adjusting the price on my 10 meter with Yanmar diesels, was to remove the FLOSCAN system and re-install the VDO tachometers.

The FLOSCAN digital tachs have been doing just great in my 450DA with 3126 engines, and I'm just now getting around to installing the 4 fuel flow sensors.

This will require 8 fuel hose connections.

Seems to me that the supply side, between the Racor and CAT fuel filters would be under vacuum, and the return side coming out of the fuel cooler would be the pressure side.

Sounds right?

Any idea as to how much pressure might be running through here?

Wondering if I can use barbed connectors and double hose clamps, as I did with the Yanmars, or should I have hoses made up with "ends" on them?

BEST !
