A couple of years ago I bought an 18 ft. searay, love the boat, the only thing I don't like and wish I'd paid more attention before the purchase is the size of the tank, about 80 litres. It's under the port side aft seat, I'm wondering if it's possible to remove it and replace with one in the floor?

The metric system is so complicated. Let's see 80L /3.78541L/gal = 21.1338 gal. Wow. I see what you mean. That's kinda small.

I can't answer your question about the alternate tank location, but at least the other 'mericans on here will have a clue now.

and you could always mount your generator right on top of it........

Or your grill..........

Tookawhile,
For a serious answer, (although I thought the swim platform pic was too funny not to post) I had a similar problem with a previous boat. Instead of removing and adding a larger tank, i just added a second tank. My boat had lots of storage under the rear set that I wasn't using, so we got a 10 gallon replacement tank from Overtons and bolted it in. New tank was above the original, so we put a T-fitting in the fill line and the fuel line. both tanks would fill at the pump, and both fed the engine, the 2nd tank just emptied first, and the dash gauge would read full until it was using just the main tank.
