Fuel pump relay switch

Fuel pump not starting due to faulty relay switch. Replaced with relay switch purchased from auto parts store. Is there a marine grade relay switch that I should be using. Concerned one from auto store would not retard sparks. Anyone with similar problems.

2006 Sundancer 320 with twin 6.2 Mercruisers and V Drive

I know this is an old post, and I don't know the answer 100%, but I had a relay go out, super cheap, so just use auto part and replace as needed. I have the same boat, just 5.7 instead of 6.2, although, when I look up my engine via serial number, the documentation is all 6.2l 350 mag mpi. Not sure why it is listing my 350 as a 6.2l but okay.
