This is a copy of the e-mail that went out last week to customers of Cove and Rex, Note the bottom were it says they will extend an ADDITIONAL $.05 per gallon on top of other discounts to non customers as well. When I got this email last week I expected they would bump up the price of gas with this offer but it actually went down $.10 per gallon without the deal!
Maybe we can get a few of us gas powered boats together and make a cumulitive buy to get the 500 gallon discount and pay with cash!! = $.25 Discount per gallon!!

Greetings to our customers of Rex Marine Center
and Norwalk Cove Marina!
Dear Rex Customer:
A quick note to introduce a new fuel dock discount and clarify existing fuel pricing policies.
Our goal remains to price our fuels as fairly as possible. Additionally, we offer the following ways to save you money on Valvtect Marine Fuels at the Rex Ships Store and Fuel Dock at Norwalk Cove Marina:
1. When you identify yourself as a summer dockage or rack storage customer of Rex Marine or Norwalk Cove before the dock staff rings up your sale on the cash register, you will receive 5 cents off per gallon.
2. If your purchase is between 250 and 499 gallons, you will receive 5 cents off per gallon, and if your purchase exceeds 500 gallons the discount is 10 cents off per gallon. You may pay by credit card and still be eligible for discounts 1 and 2.
3. If you pay by cash, price is discounted by 10 cents per gallon! Discounts 1, 2, and 3 may be combined. For example, a Rex/Cove customer buying 250 gallons and paying with cash will receive 20 cents off per gallon.

When its too hot here.. its perfect there!
Final plans not made yet. Mooring and anchor plans don't require reservations. The plan is now two weeks mostly there. I will have to work the beginning of the month,so we'll see.
Plan to Champlins by dink only.

Last year it was soo much fun being on our own floating island in six feet of water.
Even when the wind picked up to forty kts and three footers rocked us in the pond at around three AM. My hook held sixty+ thousand pounds of three boats rafted together... Really happened and we will never forget that vacation. We all sat up with engines running, just waiting for the anchor to snap or drag. We were lucky! I counted seven boats up on shore in the AM.
