So just about 60% through our season and the fuel total is at $3200...so far what's yours?

I have enjoyed every bit of my first season with my boat...except for the drive implosion. But damn...fuel ain't cheap. I guess it's good I have a company car that I don't pay a dime for!!

i trailer my 22 foot, use nothing but non ethanol $3.49 a gal here.63 gal tank , top it off every 2nd trip i probely have about $1,500 so far

We budget about $6k per season for fuel. We've used a little over half of that so far and we've put about 60 hours on the boat so far this season.

Just finished trip from Saugatuck MI to Mackinaw Island and back. Used just under $3000.00 in gas. (could have went to Disney World instead, NOT !!!! )

25 hours of running so far this year and just spent $224.00 CDN at the fuel dock last weekend. We use our boat like a displacement cruiser, +/- 1050 RPM wherever we go and do a lot of anchoring and swimming. Half the fun is the ride there. A lot of the time we just hang out on the boat at the slip. Since we made the move to "P" dock we're probably close to half a mile from the main gate so there's not a lot of traffic out there.

Yea, I hear ya. We could have gone out for dinner with our fuel fund so far,,,,, NOT:smt043

Fuel cost synopsis for about 20 days in total out on the water:-
$2000 red wine, $ $850 white wine, $1000 beer and $2900 in gasoline. (Oh yes, and about $100 for water bread and cheese).
We have just moved to west Vancouver from Seattle area this summer and still recovering from the increase in living costs (hence so much alcohol ).

Have had a broken engine for 2 months so haven't used my boat much this season, but I filled up yesterday, 120 gallons at $4.74 for a $560 fuel bill. Probably will take me into the fall. Still, I was busy the first half of the year, will be busy the second half of the year, so my fuel for the year is likely to be only about $1200.

Before I post...will my wife see this? So far...$3800.00 and there will be more

That's a s-load of fuel in a 30 ft Weekender. You're getting your moneys worth out of a 26 year old boat.

I don't let her sit, I didn't buy her to watch her sit in a slip, plus it's been a nice dry summer till a few weeks ago. Every Sat and Sunday I run out to have my coffee. I've had some really nice short trips and a great four day trip

We filled up last February (2014) and haven't added any since then. The bill at that time was $2045. I'm getting kind of low but probably will wait until the winter months when the price drops to fill up again.

Since we just moved to AB (temporarily) we made a run through Kelowna last weekend - Beautiful area. I would have never imagined an area like that north of the border!!

Just completed a long trip. total distance 1224 Km, 1543 litres of fuel for a cost of about $2300.

While I was at one fuel dock there was a "larger" boat there that was filling up. They were from Seattle. He said his tank took 30,000 litres. Yes that is the right number of zeros on that. His fill cost more than what my boat is worth.

Fuel dock in the last month.
$1180
$750
$580
Its empty again.

Going to be an expensive year.... My Secretary is sworn to secrecy!!

I came back from the. North Channel at the neighing of last week. 11 days on the water. 3700 litres of diesel at about CDN$1.55 a litre. Great trip though - beats the hell out of Disney! :) For the season before then, I probably went through another tank (3200 litres) to tank and a half...

Yes...the food costs are high as well. We are spending around $100 a week at the liquor store...maybe I should start charging admission!

How many gallons is that? I wish my boat held more than a measly 100 gallons. That is only good for a long weekend...

don't know the exact number for the season, we're at about 60 hrs so far this year. But here's a funny sidebar - went to the Chesapeake Hyatt last weekend and spent 3 nights there.... fuel bill? about $350. Hyatt bill for slip fees, restaurants, and bar charges - $1,400... go figure!
