No, it was because of the press conference to speak of the shootings. He spent three or four minutes to thank all those who showed up to support his health care plan, and then once the thanking was complete, spoke of the shooting. The tragic shooting should have been the absolute first thing out of his mouth, period.

Health care is about him, the shootings are about someone else. When it isa bout him it is important otherwise forget it.:smt021
 
Maybe there is a little justice after all. Now how can we extend that for 13 lifetimes? I hope they're going lite/nonexistant on the pain meds.
