Last weekend I had a battery issue so I replaced it in my 240 Sundeck. Now, the water pump will not work. When I switch the toggle on, the light does not light so I figured no power to the switch. So, I checked the fuses in the fuse block and the inline fuse at the battery. All are good. I think it's odd the battery and pump died at the same time...but then again, the Admiral trailered the boat and may have left the switch on and killed the battery and pump. All other switches operate and light when selected. Time for a new pump?

Pis it possible you ran out of water and left the battery switches on? If you run out of water, the pump will continue to run and try to pressurize the system. That would burn up the pump and run your battery down...

Test the 12v leads at the pump to see if you have power there first. Sometimes there will be a fuse adjacent to the pumps. If you replace the pump, I recommend spending a bit more money and get the Shurflo Extreme series. It is variable speed depending on demand and seems more efficient. I love mine...
