Frozen in on Lake Minnetonka - Day 3 Trying to pull big Chris Craft

When I turned it off they had the boat out of the water on the trailer, they used the tow truck to help winch the tow vehicle forward a bit so the wheels were out of the water and off the icy part of the ramp, but the tow vehicle and trailer hadn't departed the ramp yet. The support poles on the outriggers on the trailer had been bent up but still looked to be providing support, and apparently there were still 1000 idiots like me watching the live stream.

My favorite quote from the video: "You can always trust a tow truck driver smoking a cigarette. Those guys know what they are doing"

Mostly. The Boat/Trailer/TowVehicle are still on the ramp, the wheels of the trailer are out of the the water by a foot or two. Nothing remains in the water.

I seriously doubt the tow vehicle can pull the load up the ramp and wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing falls over on the Starboard side when they make the right turn near the top of the ramp.
They did say they were going to spend today securing it more. Those outriggers look really flimsy though. I noticed some of the stanchions are bent on the port side.

edit: @yobub said it 1st

I'm going to wait as long as possible to see if it's streaming again today. I can't handle the distraction...again :)

I’d be lying to you if I told you it wasn’t running in the background all afternoon yesterday in the office. It conveniently ended when it was time to head home.

Someone posted, “Please hurry, I’m watching this while at work and don’t want to watch this at home during my own time”

I hope they drained the motors, A/C and water systems, It was 9 degrees last night. Turbine Guy on YouTube plans on being there again today then 2AM when they move down public streets. I cant handle another full day of watching the sh.. show.

I wont lie. I could not walk away from this yesterday. Once you got sucked in to the live comments you just could not stop watching. I now see why kids these days watch utube for hours on end.
I will hand it to the transport company they worked there ass off doing this... would love to know how much it all cost having all those guys and then how much the tow truck got paid to sit there all day. What really surprised me when listing to the live feed not one F bomb or any blow ups from all those guys.

Totally agree that trailer is one POS!!! I can just imagine today some guy on the ramp with a portable welder crafting all sorts of crazy ways to support the boat on the trailer and them adding at least 20 more ratchet straps and some bubble wrap.

I got an update from a friend who lives there. It's still on the ramp.

I just can't understand why they didn't pull it with a travel lift in the fall, block it, and when/if the trailer was properly set up, load it. And why not use a normal transport trailer? None of this makes any sense. I am guessing the owner has to be a piece of work.

I hope they publish a highlights video of this thing. Coming in late I can't spend a couple days catching up.

Turbine Guy said he would edit it once he got a chance. It's in the comments on one of the videos.

The story I got was the new owner got the estimate for transport and decided to do it himself to save money nd had a trailer built but it took longer than expected to be completed. The marine with the travel lift "washed their hands" of this deal. Hence taking it out on the ramp.

I’m sorry i missed this whole train wreck! I will definitely try to watch during some snow days this winter

Turbine Guy is live on YouTube now. The live chat comments are priceless

Right that’s what I heard. But it makes zero sense. Even if transport costs where excessive and he was going to do it himself, doesn’t make sense that as winter approached he wouldn’t have it hauled and blocked. The marina “washed their hands” can only mean the where sick of the guy.

I missed it first time around, but watched the posted you tube videos. I don’t know how anyone could have watched live. Talk about a show about nothing. At least watching it recorded you scan skip to look for actual content.

Now the good video will be watching that boat trailer collapse and that massive Chris falling onto the road. That will be worth watching. But not live. Here is the latest show about nothing.
