Front Hatch

A few weeks ago in rough seas I damaged my front hatch/window. The part that pivots on the hinge is broken. My mechanic tells me I need a new hatch altogether, which costs about $350.

Does anybody know where I can get one that is cheaper than that? That seems ridiculous for a 16" piece of glass.

Can anybody suggest a source for these hatches? The hatch is 18" x 18". I'd rather not spend $300. Anybody have any tips?
