from 4.3l 175hp to 190hp

I´m going to swap engine , from a 1988 175hp engine to a 1996 190hp engine.
I wonder if the engine does not fit right when I have alpha one gen 1 and the new engine has been sitting together with a gen 2?.
Are there any other differences that I need to take into account or that can make it difficult for me?
