Friend in critical condition after wreck.

Sorry for the late reply as I have been traveling again this week.
Madison is still in very serious condition. He has had some great progress but still having problems breathing on his own and kidney issues. He is on dialysis and a ventilator and they fear pneumonia may be setting in.

On the positive side, after surgery on his spine he can now move both legs though his feet are still healing after surgery on them.

Please continue to pray for him. He has high spirits and the outlook is very optimistic at this point even with the above complications.

Thoughts are with him and family.

I wanted to follow up with Madison's progress. He is still in the wheel chair but works out everyday and won't give up on walking again. He had been able to stand up on his own but only for short times. He had not stopped or slowed down though.
Most recently he had given motivational and spiritual commitment speeches to high school and college students. He feels his faith and perseverance have carried him this far.

He stopped asking why and now looks at how he will use what he has to influence and help others. Not bad for a Young man who had a full athletic and academic ride to UNC before the accident.

That is amazing. What a great young man he must be. Thanks for the update. Our continuing prayers will come for him.

That is great news.

Good to hear some good news for a change. Do hope he continues to improve.
