I have a Norcold DE 251D AC/DC Fridge on my boat that is on it's last legs. I was just wondering if any of you guys have replaced your AC/DC fridges, and if so what make and model did you get.
If you haven't personally replaced it but you have something other than the Norcold DE 251D, I'm hoping you can tell me what make and model is on your boat. Also what, if any modifications, you had to make to get it in there. There doesn't seem to be much room for any modifications on my boat.
I really want to stay with the AC/DC type. My current opening is about 20 1/2 " high X 18 1/4 wide.
The Norcold replacement for my current fridge is a DE-0751 which requires 21" in depth once it slides in place and I don't think that I have that much space back there because of the way the hull comes up.
