My "new to me" boat came with a 220v pump and a 24v back up. At some point the previous owner removed the 24v pump leaving only the original 220v pump. This pump is original and runs all the time, it needs to be replaced. The way I see it, I have two options. 1. Replace the two pumps as they were originally installed. or 2. Replace the pump with one high GPM 24v pump with an accumulator tank. The second option is what is being recommended by my friend / mechanic. I value the experience and suggestions of the board.
