Getting my 2007 320 Sundancer ready to launch on the 8th. All seems to work fine except the fresh water out of the faucets. I filled the fresh water tank yesterday, turned on the water pump. The water level indicator reads full. When I turn on any faucet I only get a trickle of water, but water is being pumped out the port side. No leaks or running water I can see in the engine compartment.

Any suggestions would be helpful. This is my first spring as a boat owner.

Check the frsh wateyr manifold. It should be located somewhere downstream of the fresh water pump. The valve for that circuit may be closed.

Here he comes, here comes....

One of only two ringtones that I have ever paid money for.

Thank you Lazy Daze. It was the pressure release value.
so i thought it was the pressure release valve, as the water pressure improved when i closed it, but after i bled the air out of the hot water lines i turned on the hot water heater, waited 30-45 minutes and checked the water temp. i never got warmer. after a while, maybe 10 minutes, i lost all water pressure and no water comes out of any faucet. water level indicator still says 3/4 full.

Go, with what you'v written (which is all we have to help diagnosis)...

-- Your original problem WAS the PRV. You've addressed that. There may be a secondary/new thing going on.
-- Did you verify that water is not exiting through the PRV hull outlet, now?

-- You may just not have bled the system properly.
-- You need to bleed the cold water side, too.
-- The pump's filter could be clogged.
-- Walk us through how you bled everything.
-- Does the pump continue to run even with "no water coming out a faucet"?

it is entirely possible i did not bleed the system correctly.

I did verify water is not exiting via the haul outlet.
how i bled the system was to turn on hot and cold faucets until no more air was coming out.
the pump does not run continually. it stops after a while from turning it on

What does "after a while" mean? An approximation is OK.

OK, that's too long if the system is "full". It should typically only continue to run (after shutting off all faucets) for a few seconds (maybe 10).

Probably still air.

-- Remove/check/clean/reinstall the pump filter (it's right on the pump - you'll see it)
-- Open the PRV again
-- Close it when you hear/notice water exiting the thru hull. Now the tank is full.
-- Go to the furthest cold water valve and open till the stream is solid. Do the rest of the cold water faucets. Don't forget your transom shower and washdown. Don't forget the toilet.
-- Repeat for the hot water faucets.

the issue seems to fixed. I thinkin all my troubleshooting over a couple days I ran out of water in the holding tank. Even though my water level indication read 3/4 full.
This really helped:
-- Go to the furthest cold water valve and open till the stream is solid. Do the rest of the cold water faucets. Don't forget your transom shower and washdown. Don't forget the toilet.
-- Repeat for the hot water faucets.

thanks again

If you had the HWH on while it was empty you may have ruined your heating element. (Didn't I read no hot water?)

Hot water seems to work. Will monitor throughout the season
