I did a search and can't find what I'm looking for so thank you in advance for your advice.

OK here goes...
Water in tank getting stinky so we drained all the water
from the faucets til empty.
Next day put in white vinegar and filled with water. Planned on
emptying and filling with new water.

Tank seems full cause water runs out the inlet. Oh and
a big chunk of silicone came back out.

Turn on pump on helm.

Open faucets and get a little burst and runs to a trickle
Seems like the pump isn't priming.

Thats were I'm lost.
Checked the pump and seems to be running and shuts off
Opened one end and water runs out.

What are some other things I can try.
Thanks guys.

First, check the strainer attached to the inlet side of your pump. If it's never been cleaned, it could have a lot of grit and trash in it. While you're at it, remove the strainers from your faucets and clean them too. When you detach the hose from your tank, notice if water flows freely from the tank. After all the screens and strainers are clean, try again. When you turn on the water and it has pressure, that means the pump is working, but when it slows to a trickle, it could be that your pump is sucking air from the inlet side of the supply. Sometimes it could be a loose connection or a cracked plastic fitting. Often if that's the case, you can see bubbles in the clear plastic strainer on the inlet side.

Sometimes (often) these pumps just wear out. Jabsco and Shurflow make repair kits if you don't want to buy a whole new pump.

When refilling the tank add 2 capfuls of bleach. Open the faucet at the end of the waterline run first, sounds like air in the lines from going empty.

Cleaned out the strainer and full of gunk. Will aslo check the
faucets screens.
Thanks for the advice all works now:smt001

Filter should be right next to the pump on the "inlet" side
unscrew a clear cap and clean screen,
dont lose th small rubber o ring, then replace
