Fresh water tank vs shore water...

When at the dock and hooked up to shore water........the fresh water holding tank will drain completely with use before the shore water kicks in? I cannot locate any by pass valve anywhere....is this normal or am I missing something?

If you want to draw from the shore hose you must turn off your water pump. With the pump on, you will draw from the tank.
