Hey All,
I have a 1994 250 Express Cruiser and just recently my fresh water pump for my sink/shower decided it doesn't want to work anymore. When I first bought the boat a few months back it wasn't working so I had the mechanic check it out in the shop and he said it was a faulty switch on my dash, he replaced it and life was good for a few weeks.
Now what happens is I flip the switch and I don't hear the pump fire up and after a minute or so the fuse on the dash trips. The fuse tripping is a new behavior compared to when I first had troubles with the pump.
I'm going to head down tomorrow and put a volt meter on the power cable to the pump to see if I'm getting 12V to it. Any thoughts on what might be the issue and why the fuse would be tripping?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Derek
