Good day everyone .

this thread has helped me a lot with the issues I’ve had to deal with so far.
Greatly appreciated ! I’m down to my last issue to solve .

I have a 2006 Sundancer 280 . And my right side panel that controls my pump , pit lights and a few other things does not work .

I’m wondering if there’s anyweres else in my boat that I can turn on my pump. When I’m connected to shore water I have my sinks and toilette working but the minute I unplug the hose I have nothing .

Thanks in advance

Do you have power to that starboard electrical panel?

Check for:
Dead starboard battery
Bad ground connection

Yes I do , just that one side has nothing . I’m told that’s a comment issue for failing panels or EIM or something .

I’d just like to hard wire my water pump in a switch or something just until a new panel comes in .

so there is no other way to turn in on eh ?

If your right side keypad does nothing, I would make sure it has a good 12V and ground. There is only 4 wires to the keypad... 12V, ground, data+ and data-. Also make sure the EIM has a good 12V and ground also.

For the water pump, if you want to hard-wire it through a switch, you could look for the correct wire coming out of the EIM and do it there, or do it directly at the pump. Either way, make sure you disconnect it from the EIM so as not to back-feed into the EIM.

Best of luck and welcome to CSR!

If everything on that panel is down, I'd be following the power leads with a meter to see where you lose the 12v. It might be a relatively simple issue like a corroded connector somewhere between the panel and the battery, or between the panel and ground.

Be careful if you decide to just hard wire it, that you include an appropriate sized fuse or breaker in the circuit.
