Does anyone have any suggestions on how to test voltage goint to a freshwater pump? See the leads but not sure which to test and for what. Not working and not hearing it kick on when facets are open. Thanks for any suggestions

This pump has a pressure switch which activates on demand. If it's not working try and tap the pump to see if it's sticking. Also check the filter attached to the pump inlet, clean if necessary. A pressure adjustment is on the side of the pump facing the port side, so you must remove the mounting screws to get to it. Try adjusting this. If this doesn't work try remove the pressure switch and cleaning it out. If this doesn't work then a pressure switch repair kit or pump replacement is in order.

Well I think testing the voltage to it first would be a good idea. Put your meter one on each lead. Then open a faucet and see if the pump has voltage sent to it. If you don't then see check the pressure switch. I have no idea where that is yet as I am new to my 2000 260DA myself. What year is yours?
If you can test the switch to see if there is power present on the uphill side you may have bad switch.

Best of luck and let us know what you find.
