I love seeing pics like this. Hate when people just throw their boats in thinking a good wash will keep that showroom finish.

I agree, this is something that we keep up on every year. The only way to keep it looking pretty.

Tykass, that looks great. Do you do your boating on Lake Coeur d'Alene?

We actually have a slip in Two Rivers Marina on Lake Roosevelt, We do a lot of beach camping. Have a few friends with cabins out at CDA, we usually make it out there for the Poker Run they have.

looks awesome, just for a reference I removed the decals on our 290 (same style decals and color scheme) if you're curious to see what it looks like. I left the black boot stripe and black stripe above the rub rail. Two 3M eraser wheels and the job was done in about 4 hours or so.

That looks clean, defiantly something I will look into doing when then get in poor condition. Almost bought a 290 ourselves but just could not pass up the 310 when we saw it.

we love it but you made the right call, bigger is better and if I could do it over again I'd be looking for v drives. Outdrives suck, one of mine is out getting resealed right now

looking good. i like the clean look with no stripes too. i am getting mine out of storage friday and already bought a 3M eraser to remove the blue stripe above the rub rail. i buffed below the rub rail last year and it turned out real nice but the stripe above the rail kept leaving blue smudges (it is 30 years old (1986) and all cracked). i plan to remove that stripe and bought 1 gallon of presta super cut. i will take before and after pics. wife doesn't think she will like it without the stripe but i think i will like it.

hope to buy something like yours in the next year or two. looking for a late 90's or early 2000's 30 or 31'er

Your 310 looks great, we looked at a 2000 310 when we bought the 290, always kinda wished we had stepped up and gotten the 310, they era (1999-2002) 310 and 340's are two of my favorite SeaRays.

We could not be happier with the 310. Love the layout. I installed some SeaDek as well and I will post some pics of that. Did the swim platform, the step in front of the door and the step on the port side behind the bar. It turned out awesome. Along with the buff it feels like I just got a brand new boat! Fired it up yesterday on the hose and she is ready to hit the water!

Which material and pads did you use? I 3M imperial compounded followed by shurholds polymer wax. I really liked the 3m but hated pro-polish. I was thinking imperial polish, finesseIT-II, then colonite

We did a 4 stage buff to get it to look like that, started with whats called a Vibra Cut, then went to Meguiar's Diamond Cut, A product call Action Orange, the finally a gloss brilliant sealer. Long process but completely worth it. We used a 10 inch buff pad with a Makita variable speed buffer.
