fresh air vent for engine - 230 Signature

Noticed one of the fresh air vents had come loose from the vents below the sunpad. I had never really looked at them that close... but, this one seems to just terminate near the base of the engine... is that normal? Photo below... where I am shining the flashlight, you can see the end.

There should be another one on the other side of the engine withe the blower attached to it.
Fresh air in, bad air out.
