Well here I am with a new boat. Not much when compared to the huge pleasure crafts listed here but it's all good.

Glad to have upgraded to a Sea Ray. This boat is clean as can be and bone stock.

I will put a few upgrades on and get rid of the wood grain dash panel and make a custom dash cover out of cherry wood.

Anyone else around with some classic pre-1980's Sea Rays?

Take care all.

Phil

Just bought my first boat; a 1974 sea ray 19' srv 190. It's in good shape and runs well. I would like to do some asthetic work to it much like replacing the wood on the dash as you spoke of...

That is a sweet looking boat! Congrat's! Would LOVE to see some more pics, especially the interior.

Phil,

Gorgeous boat! If you ever make it northwest across the valley and hit pleasant. Shoot me a message we will tie up together. Nice boat man!

That's one heck of a sexy boat you have yourself!! If you have more pictures of this beautiful classic please post them.

That boat looks great, Im jealous! We just redid our 1978 SRV 197, engine and all. It is no where near as pretty as yours, but it works for us. Its a great all purpose boat.

Does look like a nice boat. Just this one post over a year ago. Hit and run?

Pre-'80 Sea Ray -- what a lineup of beautiful design. Like your '72 outboard, I'm re-storing the same boat. Family SRV190 was purchased new in '72 and sold in '89. I rescued her last August after sitting 15 years uncovered in a wooded area in Northern Michigan. As you can imagine, it's a farm fresh boat. Motor and controls are missing. I've since purchased a '72 140hp Mercury and in the process of replacing stringer and transom. Motor is in the process of a total exterior and mechanical restoration. New seats totally as they were in '72 are under constuction.

I will load photos in a few weeks.

Your boat looks great -- I have it as my screen saver as a reminder what I will driving this summer.

Larry (313) 805-6152.

Call if you have any advise on restoration.
