I have a 2005 390DA and the freezer is dead. I cannot find a recent thread on the RPF50, nor can I find a replacement after many hours of research.
17.5" W x 20.5" H x 21.12" D

Does anyone have any leads?

Awesome tip! The 1065 nearly fits my existing cutout dimensions, but I can't find anyone who sells it yet.

Talked to the and supposed to be available April/May.

That's what I found out from Defender. My local retailer agreed to match the proposed $950. He thinks May as well. The convertible design is phenomenal!

Just bought a CRX65 as a replacement for Norcold refrigerator. The old refrigerator works but is very noisy. And the CRX refrigerator uses less power, which is positive.

UPDATE: it arrived and its AC/DC! The only minor issue is its silver in lieu of black, but for this price-who cares!

Thanks for the update. Excellent news on the AC/DC capability. I believe from Dometic's website you can choose between silver or black frames.

A couple more questions if you don't mind. Was the front stainless steel, and if so, how did it look? Did you get the flush mount version or the 'space saver' version?

I'm probably the odd man out here....... I prefer AC only, then DC only and actually put a lot of thought into this. Less to break. Gennie on, AC only good. Never on the hook w/o power for the AC anyhow! DC only, batteries charging faster than fridge consumption.

Frankly, I wish I could have the whole boat DC only. A fall night on the hook with no noise in a quiet cove...... Priceless.

It has a stainless "look". I wish this particular retailer offered it in the black frame, but I didn't want to poke too hard...in case they realized they charged too little.
It came with the flush frame installed (which is what I originally had), so I literally only had to dremel out each top corner for a different bracket thickness and it fit like a glove in 15 minutes. It was down to 32° in 20 minutes. Without angering the boat gods, I may have actually got away with an easy repair for less than $1000.

That's a perfect fit for sure. Do you know if the front panel on the new unit can be changed with another material? Perhaps the original cheery wood look panel from your old refrigerator?

Yes it can. In fact, I'm going to save the door and frame from the old one since it appears that all of it is interchangeable.

Yes, that's the one, but I question if it's DC only (I'll know this weekend). The RPF 50 was dual voltage, but even if it is DC only, I don't know how why that would be a problem.

I have wired the frig 2 1/2 years ago and freezer a year ago to DC only by passing the AC converter on the back side of both units. they have worked great since doing so. Very easy to do. We are on the anchor quite a bit and have had no issues. Hope you get yours resolved!

Thanks almostenuff for all of your posting and pictures. You saved me a bunch of money and eliminated some ongoing frustration.

Based on your experience I just called and placed an order at boatandrvaccessories.com for a CRX-65 unit in black. Black is back-ordered for a month but they still honored the $672 on-sale delivered price, which was generous I think.

I'm 'hoping' that the wood panel in my current unit is big enough to be installed in the new unit to match the existing refrigerator. If it's not I'm going to buy some stainless sheeting and do both units like the newer 44da's have.

If you had the RPF 50, I'm confident that the panel will fit. I love this refrigerator so much, that I may replace the cockpit fridge with it (same size I think)
