Have a 1988 30ft Sea Ray EC. The freezer does not have a door on it. Anyone have this boat, and if so, should it. Have defrosted it and still having trouble keeping a few items frozen. I am trying to keep some frozen baitfish froze. I only have about 4 small packages that are flat so there is still a lot of room in the freezer. Someone told me to stuff bundled news paper in to take up the remaining space but this didn't help. I know the door seal probably isn't great (age) but the fridge is ice cold and works well. If this fridge had a door on it prior to me buying the boat I will have to see where I can get one. If not, any suggestions to resolve.

You are not serious are you?............

It might help to know the make and model of the offending unit.

Yes I am serious, boat is new to me and although I do belive it should have a freezer door, I'm not certain. The boat is 2hrs away so i will get the make and model if that helps.

My apologies, I meant to say if the Freezer had a door on it (not the fridge). I can see how that could be confusing. The fridge has a door on it, the freezer inside the fridge does not.
