Seems like it would be a lot easier to put him in another location other than the capital. Then you tell all the truckers he's gone, hoping it demoralizes them and everyone goes home.

If not, you bring in some paid agitators to storm the government buildings and "attempt a coup." Make sure they have horns, face paint and even maga hats :rolleyes:

Where are the reports of that? How are they shooting and killing up there? Didn't think there were that many guns up there...

I wouldn't exactly say Ottawa has been brought to its knees. Pretty inconvenient if you live downtown. Disruptive to earning a living if you work down there. But doesn't really affect the majority of the population. Terrible for small business owners that are already struggling, especially when restrictions are set to allow them to open up tomorrow.

To me the protest is kind of neat in principle but pointless in reality. It has become an anti-mandate movement, complete with whack-job tag-alongs that cause it to lose credibility with most intelligent people.

It really is a fairly small group, relatively speaking, even though it is a couple thousand vehicles (most of which aren't trucks). Hwy 401 alone has somewhere around 40,000 trucks on it every day. The pictures of "large" support lining the overpasses are in fact lined with 40-50 people each. Most people aren't paying much attention.

It has the potential to turn violent and destructive...hopefully not.

Your PM went running …. $800k a day… seriously?….you are sensationalizing a non event. A few trucks. That was my point.

You know the funny thing or obvious thing is Trudeau stopped to talk to the press as he was fleeing with his family….. c’mon …it doesn’t get better than that
