In case you missed it, the fall issue of Sea Ray Living Magazine includes an article on page 12 offering a free hat for Owners Club members. Simply call (800) 248-3512 and leave your owners club information. There are also several opportunities to add points to your Owners Club point balance. For example, if you send a picture of yourself wearing your new hat, the club will add 50 points to your earnings account.
 
I didn't get that issue, I just assumed it was another casualty of the marketing budget like the owner appreciation events.
 
How bout the pic on page 42 of a new 615 Sun Sport being FLOWN from Orlando to Spain via heavy Russian transport.

Wonder what THAT cost...
 
That 615SS picture was in one of the Sea Ray Livings from several years ago.

Anyway, the scoop is that the Winter 08 issue mailed early last week. The mag ships "presort standard" which is regular magazine mail -- 1 to 2 wks. I got mine this weekend.

I think the 800-248-3512 will get you 100 points for getting an insurance quote from NBOA. They're a big SROC supporter. But you're right, 100 pts via the NBOA quote, 50 pts for signing up for the e-newsletter Sea Ray is working on, and 50 pts for sending Sea Ray Living a picture of me in my hat!
 
So i call the number and the recording says, Your FREE hat will cost you $9.95.
 
I wonder if they'll still be that puke yellow? I have one from a previous freebie offer, but would like to get a different color.

From the website, "Colors may vary".
 
Their invisible :). Four Winns makes you buy your own hats....mine are from when I had my Sea Ray.

That's a diffent number. The number for the free hat is 888-SEA RAY-2. It goes straight to somebody at www.searaywearables.com who's in charge of the free hat offer. It makes sense if it sounds like someone's voice mail.

Has anyone bought anything from there? That address paper in the plastic with the magazine also had a higher discount til Turkey Day. It said to use "coupon code SROC1008" to get 20% off the price on the website.
 
I have the mustard yellow one.......just called and I am hoping I end up with the blue and white one.
Eiiishhhhh that yellow one is kinda rough
 
yeah, I just called and left a message for the Lady(Amanda or something). I have the pukey Yellow one too
 
I tried to leave a message it kept telling me to speak louder, I was practicaly yelling into the phone, she said her email address but it was hard to understand what she was saying was all mumbled.
