Not sure if this has been covered yet, if it has forgive me.

Sea Ray Owners Club is offering a free SRO club hat...for free. All you have to do is go on the web site and claim your hat by entering your SRO club member number in the comments box at the check out screen.
You'll figure it out when you see it. Mike

They were happy to register my 1990 in my name. I'm the second owner and they sent me a hat and I get the free magazine and enjoy it. My membership card is very nice and has all my boat info on it. Very well done club and I've ordered some club items at a discount also, Mike.

So how does one go about joining this club?

Never mind, I found it on the Sea Ray site.

Just joined and waiting on the confirmation so I can order the hat. Thanks for the cool freebie!!

I got one of those hats for participating in a sea ray test drive event last year.
(same hat, different sponsor name on back)
Not high end, but actually better than one would expect for free.
The decal wasn't that great.
hmmm - of all the boats I looked at, I went with the Sea Ray. Maybe it was the free hat that pushed me over the edge.
I didn't think it was right to wear the hat unless I actually had the boat - lol.

I also got one of those free hats. Not very nice and had a vendor name on back but what do you expect for free!

Wonder how often you can do this? It says it's open to "current and valid Sea Ray Owners Club members", but also "one per household"...

I got a free one several years ago; yellow with with a vendor on the back. But it was a nice hat and fit well. Then last year I did it and got a very nice dark blue hat with white log and no vendor logo anywhere else. I love it.

So I wonder if this is another promotion and they'll send me another? Love to have one for the boat and the car. Heck, it's advertising for them! It looks like the website will let me, but...I don't want to overextend my invitation :smt001

$8.87 shipping. How did you guys get one for free?

Besides, people routinely leave better hats than this, plus sunglasses, on the boat all the time!

Hmmm, I guess I bought some other stuff, and they just thru the hat in the box with the other junk. I paid shipping for the other stuff? I guess.
Besides, you know what they say...nothing is for "free"! haha.

Maybe I should change the heading on this thread. Naw, the hat is free, the postman is not! haha.

Just double checked my order and I was not charged shipping.

Shipping Type: Free

Order Total: $0.00

I got mine when I joined last fall. The Admiral quickly snagged it from me, which was fine. Never did like teal much... Like getting Sea Ray Living Magazine every quarter though. Some ofthe Sea Ray wearables are pretty nice. I had not looked closely at some of the CSR stuff though. Like some of the t shirts and hats.

Thanks for the links. My free hat wasn't so free though, because I got carried away and ordered $65 worth of stuff that I really don't need. I hope I can find a spot for those Sea Ray fuzzy dice.
LOL, me too.
I started browsing the Sea Ray wearables store and saw another hat and some other goodies I really liked so I put them all in my cart. To add insult to injury when it came time to checkout I couldn't find my Club membership number and after getting tired of looking for my card I went ahead and checked out without my free hat. That's how they get ya!

As per the website:

"Don't forget - Sea Ray Owners Club members are entitled to 15% off their purchases at Sea Ray Wearables! To receive this discount, you can enter the coupon code provided on page 11 of your SROC Privileges handbook in the "coupon" box at checkout. "

Did you guys find this "Privileges handbook" or code anywhere?!?

Received mine yesterday. White hat. "SeaRay owners club" on front, NBOA logo on back. Pretty nice. (and free) Thanks for the heads up.

Scott
Where did you find the Fuzzy Dice?
I could only find the Curb/Dock Feelers!!!
Ordered mine in the Forest Green Option!

Need the dice as I don't have any coax or antenna cables draped in the bridge this year!

Dan

Got mine a couple of days ago too. Sticker is not the crappy semi-translucent one I previously referred to - it's actually usable.

When I typed in my HIN number they said it wasn't a Sea Ray HIN number. :wow: .

I hope my marina didn't sell me a Bayliner with lipstick & makeup on as a Sea Ray. :smt089
