Man you guys are harsh. Think of all the dumb things you did as a kid. Navy or not, they are kids who acted stupid. Should they lose their commisson for one act of stupidity? I think not. Some examples:
1 - Friend of mine cohorted with some russians before the cold war ended, when to captains mask, got demoted. 20 years later he is a Master Chief and a sailors sailor
2 - a entire A-school class was caught cheating (allegedly). Case was dismissed at XO's inquiry. One of those sailors went on to serve honorably and even got capped to E-5. After the service he went on to get an MBA from one of the best schools in the world
