So there is a website called domednumbers and they sent me the sea ray sport font. What a crock of crap. Their font for the sea ray sport is actually the bayliner font.

Anyway, i went through thousands of fonts and think i found the sport font.

Go to this wbesite and type '195' into the bar and tell me if that is the sea ray 195 font which goes on the back.

I have also found so many other fonts used on sea ray, bayliner, and so many. I went through 3500 fonts and am half way through them all. If anyone needs any let me know and i will find them. :)

BTW< This is the font that domednumbers is selling for $80 which is bayliner, not sea ray....

Dont pay $80 whenits there for free.

Also to make your own font which is basic go to this website. you make it with blocks and shapes and i took the first font link and widened it up a bit and got the sea ray sport perfect.

Very cool. I want to find the font for the big boats that spell out the name (Five Ten, Five Eighty, etc) and do that on our 290. My wife has a Cricut, which is basically a CNC for paper and we have vinyl that we cut the decals out of. It worked well for the boat name

Alright let me know exactly what font you want because i have gone through around 4000 of them now and have made a folder of all the fonts i recognise or are similar to anything sea ray and soon I will then go through all the models of each sea ray and match them to the fonts and make a PDF file because so many people on the internet are looking for them.

There is nothing illegal about me doing this but if any of the fonts I find are exactly that of sea ray and they are not 'fonts' but are instead 'logos' then it is still legal for me to do what i am doing but it is up to others if they want to break any laws when it comes to copyright. It has nothing to do with me what a person does with a PDF of different fonts and logos.
From what i believe the copyright laws are is when any person puts a single design from their mind onto paper, that is then a copyright protected image which does not require any paperwork to be filled out.

So what people do with it is their business but personally I actually believe that if you own a CD of music that you are legally allowed to rip that CD and make a back up of that CD for your personal music collection, incase you lose the original that you paid for.

So with that in mind, I believe if you own a Sea Ray boat and it is missing certain decals that you got with the boat when it was originally purchased, then it must be legal for you to print those decals yourself and put them onto your Sea Ray boat that had the original decals before they were damaged or the boat was repaired or something. I fail to see how printing your own sea ray logos or decals to put on a sea ray boat could be illegal. I do see how it is illegal if you printed them to sell them or printed them to put on a boat that was not a sea ray.

For these reasons alone, I can not for the life of me understand why sea ray does not a section of downloads on their website for people to print their logos out to put on their sea ray boats. Rather than have certain stores buy up large parts from fire sales and auctions to then mark up and sell on their websites.

Anyway my rant is just that it should not be this hard to find a single decal that says '195' in raised foam.

I've got $100 bet to anyone that they can not find a legitimate exact 'raised foam 195' decal that goes on the back left side of the 195 sport boats. ON IT's OWN. I can find it if i spend $350 plus $150 shipping to buy the main side decals and get this in the pack, but i can not find it on it's own for sale anywhere.

Check this out, I believe itis exactlythe 185 / 195 sport font for on the back of the boat where the raised foam decals say either '185' or '195'.

Can a 185 or 195 sport owner please confirm? Just type the number into the 'custom text' space.

As for the font you are looking for, yes i will find it

I think you're very close on the 185/195 font but you will never find the exact font. Sea Ray (and most all manufacturers) use custom made fonts for their brand identity. While you might get close, you will never find the exact Sea Ray script font. Companies pay marketing firms big bucks to create unique brand identities -- including images, fonts, logos, etc -- that evoke their brand and lifestyle. Marketing companies normally don't use off the shelve fonts for custom identities.

Yes I know this as I am a Marketing Director. However, often you will find the font as someone out there who spends their entire lives making fonts, would of seen such a great font that is owned by someone else , such as Sea Ray, and they will then just redesign the font themselves and add it to a website like the one I am trawling to sell and make a few bucks. i am counting on that.

My worst case scenario here, is I go to this site and build it myself....

Though I suspect someone in the 7 billion people on this planet would already be trying to cash in as much as they can, allbeit little dollars at a time, by ripping it off.

Let me put it another way....I will either find it or i will rebuild it myself and then I will post on this forum my copy of the font (to be used on my sea ray boat which is legal), and then there will be a record of the font being remade. Now I do not believe I would be the first person on this planet to reconstruct their font. Do you?

This is it. I can not see any difference as i dont have one up close. If there is a difference then it is the top bar of the five could be a touch thinner. But I am pretty sure this is it.
Could someone with the 185 raised foam logo, or the '185 sport' logo on side of their boat please have a look. The 8 seems perfect, the 1 seems perfect but i am worried about the 5. If the 5 is different then i will thin it out in a font builder.

Go to the 'custom text' type in 185 and pres submit. Looks bang on.

As for the 'sport' font that goes with it on the side, that was found perfectly at the start. That is a standard font.

I know that 'sea ray' logo is a logo and a copyright at that, but i no longer believe that the number decals and the model decals are a sea ray in house designed font.
As for the bayliner fonts, those are standard fonts and so many other boats have fonts to be found on this site.

I have gone through 6400 fonts and will go through the rest soon.

Could someone please compare this font to the number on the side of this boat......

Go to second image of side of the boat and use the magnifier with cursor to see the 185 font i am trying to get right, which i will then use 195.

Thank You.

Also anyone wanting to sell any parts for the 195 or 185 sport, Id love them. Seats, bench seats, sunpads.

I would love it if someone could do a template of the carpet and i would pay for that or if anyone could take my up[holstery and copy it, then i am prepared to pay $2000 as it is way more expensive here.

Yeah this is the one. Look at the five. it is thin on the right side and fat on the right side. The top is straight cut and the bottom is angled cut. the 8 is perfect and the 1 is good.

i am 95% certain this is bang on the font used.

Scroll right down to the bottom to see all the examples of that font where the holes in the 8 are a bit larger than the first one

Bugger. Sorry. I will spend some time tomorrow and find it again. It was exact.

As for the 195 font, Not the one i posted but another one i found......I had a 195 raised decal arrive today for a later model 195 sport and it is a bit sloped, VERY similar to the one ive been looking for, but this one exactly matches another i have found. Exactly. I will post a picture of the decal and of the font soon for comparison but it goes to show my theory that Sea Ray are having their 'sea ray' logo in house built, but their model numbers are just using fonts that are already out there.

Also if you think of the sea ray badge where all the letters of 'sea ray' are joined together at the bottom to make it look like a line along the bottom, I have that exact font too.

Over Easter I will put together all the fonts i have matched to model numbers and model name fonts. They are all out there but the only one of course that is not, is the main logo. I have over 20 fonts that match models of different boats which i will list with photo comparisons. it is a bit of work to put together so right after I re-find your fifty two font, I will get on this. I would like to thinkit would help alot of people as so many people on the internet have been looking and it is bloody hard to find. But it is out there. ALL the bayliner fonts were the easiest to find

Fpmarine.com has some decals available. Have you looked there? Also for carpet - try www.snapincarpet.com. They should have a template for your boat and if they don't, they can send you a kit to make one. Good luck!

Thanks. I had not tried them, but as for snap in carpet, they don't have the 195 template and they can not get it. Still looking.

Not sure if you still need/want them, but I'm headed to my boat slip this afternoon and I'll take some close up pics of the 195 font on my boat. I meant to do it the other day when I put it in the water, but I completely forgot.

Here's a couple of pictures.
