Found this beauty on Craig's List in Camp Lejeune NC (WOW what a nice base and two marinas!!!!)
We had looked at the same model with Crusaders locally but the owner wasn't as ready to sell as he thought he was and we got really tired of trying to communicate with him through his girlfriend. We weren't wild about the age for the model but THAT model met every ideal we were looking for so that model became the subject of our hunt depending on the condition we could find one in.
We really love this boat and hope to have her back in the water soon. We had her put on the hard in Hampstead, NC at Anchors Away Boatyard so I can go through the engines and service the running gear. Not easy when you live 550 miles away. The wife and I refer to our visits as "HoBoating" and even though repair time I get during the visits are short we enjoy the get away and look forward to either transporting or cruising her down the ICW home in Florida.
When I got the title and registration done in Florida we learned that the vessel was originally from here ... funny thing was that it was originally registered as a jetski when it was in Florida and thankfully Tallahassee was able to fix the issue without much fuss.:smt038:smt038:smt038
Haven't been able to find anyone with a vessel like this on here yet ... have a few questions on some things I want to get opinions on and some insite as there were some mods I don't like and a few work arounds I will be correcting.
