I'm trying that now with no success.Hopefully your answer is in your anchor locker where it belongs. A crank handle should be clipped into holders that you can use to release the tension on the capstan.
Yep. No power. I fixing to wedge myself in the engine compartment to check the main distribution panel. Is it completely jammed/locked up both forward and reverse or no power?
There is a fuse on the control side, down in the anchor locker, and the main power has a breaker that is on the main distribution panel in the engine room.

If you hear clicking it's not the breaker, you have power.
1. removed the 3 screws and was able to "hand feed' the chain back into the anchor locker. If mechanical, 3 screws as mentioned above...
If electrical...Schematic for 06 340
Looks like no fuse in the anchor locker (change from earlier models).
There is a 100A main power breaker, but I cant see/find where its installed. But its got to be near the main DC distribution panel.
There is a 5A fuse on the windlass solenoid which should also be in/near the Main DC panel
The control power comes through the FWD EIM, there are some windlass control breakers under the helm.
