Hey gang, I have a neighbor at the lake that has 2014 250 SLX with the Fosgate stereo. He is getting no power to his amp and I'm trying to help him remotely on where and how many fuses could be located between the battery and the amp. His head unit is working and powering the 2 bow speakers, but no rear or sub. He checks the input on the amp for 12V and it is not there. Troubleshooting over the phone is tough. Thanks in advance,

Mike

Yes the blue wire from the head unit and he says he has 12 volts there but not on the large gauge Red and Black wires.

On my boat (not a Sea Ray), I've got a separate switch for my amp. Just a thought, not sure on the SLXs.

Got it - on the port side above the batteries are two thermal switches - the forward one has a red test button (i thought reset button). When testing across the terminals on that switch it showed open - even when pushing what I thought was the reset switch. On the face of that switch is a black tab about halfway up that will drop when overloaded. Simply pivot that tab back to horizontal on the power is restored to the amp. The red button is a test button and will interrupt the circuit tripping the black tab. Thanks for the thoughts and replies - for anyone that has this in future - look for the black tab...LPL

That's the thermal breaker I have for my windlass. Glad it was an easy fix.
