Forward storage cabinets by the main bed need strut??

I am trying to find a strut or spring type system that will hold the doors of the small cabinets on either side of the forward berth.

I have a 2003 340 SD

They open from the bottom and the hinge is at the top. They are not large doors and it is a pain when trying to dig out clothes, etc.

Does anyone have a solution??
