Just wanted to let everyone know that I had the hatched repaired.

Apparently searay put some kind of tape adhedsive around the hatch. I guess it expedited the assembly process. But, I was lucky in that I found the problem early before it did any damage. They were sure to look for any water damage and found none.

They removed the hatch, removed the tape stuff and refastened it with life seal.

The other hatches are probably done the same way and was told to watch out for that as well.

Hope this helps those who may have this problem.

How about being PROACTIVE and having the other two done before they start leaking. Be lucky you noticed the leak before it did any damage. The other two you might not be so lucky. I did all of ours and it was easy. I removed that foam seal and used silicone. All you gotta do is open the hatch and remove all the phillip screws around the base that hold it to the deck. If you do decide to do it when you retighten the screws dont tighten them too tight and squeeze all the caulk out. Just enought till you see it squishing out the sides a little.
