Formula, Clev Boat Show.

I agree with Katrico, I had I/O's for years on several boats and the BIII's have been great.

I wouldn't want the Extra cost of the maintance on the two I/O's vs the V-drives. I prefer the Handling of the V-drives at the dock also. I agree with the poster that speed is the goal for Formula and thats the reason for the I/Os .

I'm not dogging the B3s. Just saying some people would rather have the v-drives on a boat that size. Like I said I have B3s now. Funny I'm getting all kinds of advice. Some people say with the prices of used boats I should go bigger and forget the gassers. I like the advice it gives me something to chew on.

Wow, 5 year old boats on display at a boat show. It looks like it worked, lots of interest in the 340.

Nothing wrong with the B III, But on bigger boats where I can have a V-Drive thats the way I go. I can do Trany fluid changes every other year for the price of 4 quarts of ATF per side and be done with it. Plus the big inboard wheels bite really well at docking speeds. Nothing to corrode either

The used boats got most of the looks. Tons of good looking used boats out there. I can afford new but I will never do that again. Well, never say never.

That's good. Not too many 2010's were made by any manufacturer prior to the show season, so with not much to show, I think it makes sense to display what they have.
I can't afford, and never would buy a new boat by any builder. But I am always looking for the right used one, and I think today, so are lots of other potential buyers.
