hey all, had an inch or two of smelly "water" in the aft cabin floor. pumped it out but pretty either the tank it cracked or hoping its just the hose. wondering if anyone has dealt with this before and how would I begin to tackle this prob? I have an 83 27 foot sundancer, any advice will be immensely appreciated

Obviously you will have to find the leak... the tank is not likely to freeze and crack unless it was completely full.

Might be the line form the head to to tank. Start tracing them back.

at first I thought the tank cracked but then I was like since it wasn't full there is room for expansion so it couldn't have cracked. well ill have to check the line and disinfect/clean the mess. thanks for the feedback.

The line may have some flex to it. Make sure to check all connections as well. Good luck.

I had an 89 268 that developed a "stinky leak". Ended up being the head's storage tank developing some cracks around the inlet fitting. Used boat "Goop" all around the crack while dry and as clean as I could get it and it worked for as long as I had the boat after that (about 3yrs). Good luck tracking that down - it took me a while...
