Ford Announces New ‘Merican Edition F150

Everyone knows that all builders of autos purchase a percentage of components from other countries but give me a break, your article is just stupid! 'merican is the best toyota could come up with?????

Ummm...why is Canada considered "'Merican" but Mexico is not? Both are in NORTH AMERICA! Thus one could say it IS the most American built vehicle! :D

The F-150 is made in the US by US workers and Ford spends its profits here! The F-150 is made without bailout money and compares favorably with any truck out there. Go Ford!!
 
I liked the comment that they were outsourcing the manufacturing to China because even the Mexicans were to expensive.

Wow - that video confirms a few things! One of Chevy's own commercials a few years ago showed the bed flexing against the cab so bad I actually felt bad for them. For a second.... I don't feel bad for a second that parts of my trucks have been made in other places - but assembled here. I'm very proud of Ford for being able to not take handouts and being able to be profitable even with the unions trying to suck them dry.
 
Gentlemen, easy does it, all auto's and trucks have foreign parts in them, some more than other, I',m a fastener supplier to the Tier two companies that biuld and supply FORD, Chevy, Dodge and toyota and did I mention Nissan... With the Chevy Malibu, I suuply a threaded sleeve which hold down the tranny. THe sleeve is made in Taiwan, sold to me, I sell it to a Japanese company who them weld it to the chassis and sells it to GM..It's all Global GUYS and a lot of the GM money right now is going to China to Biuld cars in china and sell them only in China...It's their biggest Market they have and it will be for about 10 more years.. It's all Good, so easy does it, and do you all know how many foreign parts are in your Sea Rays......Give up??? Only every screw every washer and every bolt and nut.... China and Taiwan... sorry guys....
Little diddy for you all, Taiwan manufactures and sells 78% of all the worlds Fasteners... the worlds guys....
THey have it together and they do it well.....always...
